Field | Description |
---|---|
Rating Code |
Enter a supplier/vendor rating code. There are five Costpoint-defined supplier vendor rating codes that display automatically in this field. You cannot modify or delete these codes. Costpoint-defined codes are as follows:
For user-defined codes, once the code is assigned to a supplier/vendor, you will not be able to delete it on this screen. |
Rating Code Description |
Enter a description for new rating codes. For existing codes, you can modify this field for both user- and system-defined rating codes. If you modify the description after the rating code is used in a record in Manage Contracts or Manage Subcontracts, the historical data may contain obsolete information. |
Score |
Enter the numeric score for user-defined rating codes, or modify the score of system-defined rating codes. Only positive values are allowed in this field. If you modify the score after the rating code is used in a record in Manage Contracts or Manage Subcontracts, the historical data may contain obsolete information. |
Show in Lookup |
This check box is selected by default for both user- and system-defined supplier vendor rating codes, but you can modify it. Keep it selected to display the rating code in the lookup of the rating fields on the Supplier/Vendor Rating subtask of the Supplier/Vendor rating tab on the Manage Contracts and Manage Subcontracts screens. Only those codes that are available in the lookup can be used for new records in Manage Contracts and Manage Subcontracts. If you clear this check box for a code that was already used in an existing record in Manage Contracts or Manage Subcontracts, you will still be able to save that record as long as you do not replace the rating code for that record. |
Source | This field displays System (system-defined code) or User (user-defined code). You cannot modify this field. |
