  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Dependent FSA Election Subtask

Use this subtask to view and change annual dependent care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) elections made in the Life Events/New Hires module in Employee Self Service (ESS).

You can also assign FSA information to employees on the Manage Employee Dependent Care FSA Elections and the Manage Employee Medical Care FSA Elections screens.

Field Description
FSA Year

This non-editable field displays the FSA year in which the dependent care FSA election becomes effective for this employee. The value in this field defaults from the Current FSA Year field on the Manage ESS Company Settings screen. 

Start Date

This non-editable field displays the date on which the dependent care FSA election becomes effective for this employee. The value in this field defaults from the Life Event Date associated with the benefit election.

Annual FSA Amount

This field displays the annual dependent care FSA amount for this employee. You can edit this amount, but it cannot be greater than the Maximum Amount on the Manage Dependent Care FSA Plan Year screen.

Confirmed

Select this check box to indicate that the dependent care FSA election was confirmed by the ESS Administrator on this screen or by the employee in ESS.
