Contents of the Configure Project Planner Mapping Definition Screen

Use the fields and options to use the Configure Project Planner Mapping Definition screen.

Row Definition

This non-editable table displays data from the Row Definition subtask of the Configure Interface Settings screen.

Field Description
Source Name

This field displays the source name.

Source Description

This field displays the source description.

Level

This field displays the level at which the data is loaded into Costpoint. Valid levels are:

  • TOTAL
  • PERIOD

If the Type is ETC, this field must display TOTAL.

Type

This field displays the type of data contained in the input file. Valid types are:

  • BUDGET
  • FORECAST
  • BOTH
  • ETC
Row Type

This field displays the row type.

Row Type Description

This field displays the row type description.

Record Type

This field displays the type of data represented by this row. Record types are:

  • DLC: Direct labor
  • DNLC: Direct non-labor
  • INDC: Indirects
  • FEE: Manual Fee
  • ETC: Estimate-to-complete revenue amounts.

Column Definition

This non-editable table displays data from the Column Definition subtask on the Row Definition subtask of the Configure Interface Settings screen.

Field Description
Column No

This field displays the column number. This column must start at 1 and cannot skip any numbers.

Column Description

This field displays the column description.

Include

If this non-editable check box is selected, this column is used for mapping.

Repeats

If this non-editable check box is selected, this column is a repeating column.

Interval

This field defines the interval at which a repeating column repeats. If the column does not repeat, or if the repeating columns are adjacent to one another, this field displays 1.

Occurs

This field displays the number of times a repeating column repeats. If the column does not repeat, this field displays 1.

Mapping Definition

Column Description

The non-editable field displays the column description.

Column Source

This column defaults from the target definition table, and you can override the values. The selections are:

  • Calculated
  • Default
  • File
  • Runtime

The Calculated options currently supported and their assigned values are:

  • Direct synthetic key is calculated based on the maximum key previously assigned.
  • Modified By is the Costpoint user ID.
  • Time Stamp is the system date and time.
  • Row Version is zero.
  • Last Update Date is the system date.
  • ORG_ID is set to the project's owning organization ID.

You must set all of the above fields to Calculated for the source, with the exception of ORG_ID, which can be set to Calculated, Runtime, File, or Default.

Column No

You must enter a column number if the Column Source is File. Only source column numbers whose Include check box is selected can be used when mapping. A column number is not required if the Column Source is Runtime.

Default Value

You must enter a default value if the Column Source is Default. A default value is not required if the Column Source is Runtime.
