Contacts Subtask

Use the Contacts subtask at the bottom of the Manage Customers screen to maintain numerous contacts for each customer.

This subtask screen contains the contact name, phone numbers, title, and general comments. You can import contacts when importing address information from another module or customer. You can use this screen for recording names of the customer's A/P personnel to facilitate collections.

Maintain this screen at any time after setting up the customer.

Click to begin adding of contacts.

Note: An error message displays if you attempt to delete a contact line that is affiliated to a lead or contact on the Manage Leads and Contacts screen in the Contracts domain.

Contacts

Field Description
Contact ID

Enter a unique ID code for this customer for this contact's name and phone numbers. When you print invoices or bills, you can send the bill to this ID's attention.

For example, you could use a contact ID of "CONOFC" to identify the contracting officer for each customer.

First Name

Enter the first name of the contact.

Last Name

Enter the last name of the contact. The table is sorted by this field.

Contact Title

Enter the title of this contact or any other reference information that you want to track.

Phone

Enter the primary phone number for this contact.

Fax

Enter the fax number for this contact.

Other Phone

Enter any other phone number you need for this contact, for example, an alternate line or main switchboard.

Email Address

Enter the email address for the address entered.

Comments

Enter up to 30 characters for this contact. For example, "check run 10th & 25th of month" or "if no ans. press 479."
