Manage FAR Library
Use this screen to enter and maintain Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses and provisions that you can use on contracts and subcontracts.
You can link FAR clauses and provisions to contracts/subcontracts using the FAR Clauses/Provisions subtask of the Manage Contracts or Manage Subcontracts screen. If you have multiple companies, you can set up and maintain FAR clause and provision numbers in any company and use them across all companies. The number, however, must be unique in a single Costpoint database.
There are system-defined FAR clauses/provisions that automatically load when you open the screen, but you can also manually enter additional clauses/provisions in the table window. You can also use the subtask on this screen to import FAR clauses/provisions from an input file into Costpoint. Upon successful import, FAR clauses/provisions that do not previously exist will be imported and displayed on the Manage FAR Library screen.
