Field Description
Local

Enter, or click to select, the local code to which the pay period and contract ceilings apply. After you have entered a valid local code, the local description defaults. You must set up local codes on the Manage Labor Locations/Locals screen before you can enter them here.

Field Description
Start Date

Enter, or click to select, the effective date of the local's union fringe ceiling amounts. The Compute Payroll process uses this date, along with the End Date, to determine the range of dates to which the local ceilings apply. The start date and end date cannot overlap with other date ranges for the fringe code.

End Date

Enter, or click to select, the last date to which the union fringe ceiling amounts apply. The Compute Payroll process uses this date, along with the Start Date, to determine the range of dates to which the local ceilings apply. The start date and end date cannot overlap with other date ranges for the fringe code.

Union Fringe

Enter, or click to select, the fringe code to which the pay period and contract ceilings apply. After you enter a valid fringe code, the fringe description defaults. You must have established Union Fringe codes on the Manage Fringe Codes screen before you can enter them here.

Pay Period Ceiling Amount

Enter the ceiling amount that applies to non-cash and stamp union fringes for each pay period. The value entered here establishes the maximum fringe amount for this fringe code for any one pay period. When computing fringes, the Compute Payroll screen applies this ceiling.

Contract Ceiling Amount

Enter the ceiling amount that applies to non-cash and stamp union fringes for the entire length of the Local contract. The value entered here establishes the maximum fringe amount for this fringe code for any one pay period. When computing fringes, the Compute Payroll screen applies this ceiling.
