Contents of the View Employee Labor Inquiry Screen

Use the fields and options to configure the View Employee Labor Inquiry screen.

Selection Criteria

Use the options in this group box to select parameters.

Field Description
Employee

Select this option to base selection on employee ID.

Home Organization

Select this option to base selection on the home organization.

Home GLC

Select this option to base selection on the home GLC.

Fiscal Year

Enter, or click to select, the fiscal year for which you want to review employee labor history.

Employee

Enter, or click to select, the employee ID (before executing the inquiry) to limit the rows in the table window to a specific employee. If you do not enter an employee, all employees will be displayed. This field is enabled only if you select the Employee option. After you enter the employee ID, the employee's name displays in the field to the right.

Home Organization

To limit the rows in the table window to a specific home organization, enter, or click to select, the home organization before executing the inquiry. If you do not enter a home organization, all home organizations will be displayed. This field is enabled only if you selected the Home Organization option. After you enter the home organization, the home organization description displays in the field to the right.

Home GLC

To limit the rows in the table window to a specific home GLC, enter, or click to select, the home GLC before executing the inquiry. If you do not enter a home GLC, all home GLCs will be displayed. This field is enabled only if you selected the Home GLC option. After you enter the home GLC, the home GLC description displays in the field to the right.

Select Employee Status

Use the check boxes in this group box to select the employee statuses to include in the inquiry. You must select at least one check box in this group box to view any records.

Field Description
Active

Select this check box to include employees who have an Active status on the Manage Employee Information screen.

Inactive

Select this check box to include employees who have an Inactive status on the Manage Employee Information screen.

Inactive Accruing Leave

Select this check box to include employees who have an Inactive Accruing Leave status in the Manage Employee Information screen.

Family Medical Leave

Select this check box to include employees who have a Family Medical Leave Act status in the Manage Employee Information screen.

Inquiry Details

You can view up to 1,000 labor lines in this table. To view additional labor lines, enter a specific employee ID, home org, or home GLC to limit the rows. Each field for the timesheet line on the Default tab of the Manage Employee Information screen is provided as the default field value for the first line (if you are adding a new timesheet history record). Thereafter, the value on the previous line is the default.

Field Description
Employee

This field displays the employee ID that uniquely identifies the employee.

Employee Name

This field displays the employee name.

Status

This field displays one of four system-generated status types for this employee. Valid status types are:

  • ACT: Active
  • IN: Inactive
  • IAL: Inactive Accruing Leave
  • FML: Family Medical Leave
Home Organization

This field displays the home organization to which this employee is assigned on the Manage Employee Salary Information screen.

Home Organization Description

This field displays the description for the employee's home organization.

Home GLC

This field displays the home GLC to which this employee is assigned on the Manage Employee Salary Information screen.

Home GLC Description 

This field displays the description for the employee's home GLC.

Fiscal Year

This field displays the fiscal year for this data.

FYTD Hours

This field displays the hours worked in the fiscal year.

Amount

This field displays the dollars earned in the fiscal year.

Hire Date

This field displays the employee's hire date from the Manage Employee Information screen.

Last Review Date

This field displays the employee's last review date from the Manage Employee Information screen.

Next Review Date

This field displays the employee's next review date from the Manage Employee Information screen.

Subtasks

Subtask Description
Account Charges Click this link to open the Account Charges subtask, which displays the time and labor cost for all timesheet lines charged to a specific general ledger account in the fiscal year.
Account/Organization Charges Click this link to open the Account/Organizations Charges subtask, which displays the time and labor cost for all timesheet lines charged to a specific account/organization combination within the fiscal year.
GLC Charges Click this link to open the GLC Charges subtask, which displays the time and labor cost for all timesheet lines charged to specific general labor categories within the fiscal year.
Labor Utilization Click this link to open the Labor Utilization subtask, which displays the employee's labor utilization for the fiscal year.
Organization Charges Click this link to open the Organization Charges subtask, which displays the time and labor cost for all timesheet lines charged to a specific organization in the fiscal year.
Project Charges Click this link to open the Project Charges subtask, which displays the time and labor cost for all timesheet lines charged to specific projects within the fiscal year.
PLC Charges Click this link to open the PLC Charges subtask, which displays the time and labor cost for all timesheet lines charged to specific project labor categories within the fiscal year.
Employee Salary Click this link to display the Employee Salary subtask.
Employee Leave Click this link to display the Employee Leave screen.
