Overtime Hours Basis

This field displays the number of overtime hours used to calculate the accrual. This option applies when computing leave types with a compute method of E-Annually on Hire Date (Posted Hours).

Unused Regular Hours (U-Compute Method)

This disabled field only applies to leave codes with a compute method of U-Unit of Hours Worked on the Manage Leave Codes screen. It displays the number of eligible regular (non-overtime) timesheet hours that could not be used to calculate an accrual because there were not enough hours to reach the hours unit needed for accrual. For example, if the employee should accrue 1 hour of leave for every 30 hours worked and the employee worked 40 hours in the leave period, the employee only had enough hours to accrue 1 hour of leave. The remaining 10 hours (40 - 30) will become part of the fractional hours balance running total.

The unused regular hours balance from one period will be carried over to the next leave period and will be included when determining the hours-basis for the U-Unit of Hours Worked accrual.

Unused Overtime Hours (U-Compute Method)

This disabled field only applies to leave codes with a compute method of U-Unit of Hours Worked on the Manage Leave Codes screen. It displays the number of eligible timesheet overtime hours that could not be used to calculate an accrual because there were not enough hours to reach the hours unit needed for accrual. For example, if the employee should accrue 1 hour of leave for every 30 hours worked and the employee worked 40 regular and 5 overtime hours in the leave period, the employee only had enough hours to accrue 1 hour of leave. The remaining 10 regular hours (40 - 30) and 5 overtime hours will become part of the Unused Hours Balance running total.

The unused overtime hours balance from one period will be carried over to the next leave period and will be included when determining the hours basis for the U-Unit of Hours Worked accrual.
