NASA 533s
Costpoint NASA 533s provides comprehensive contractor performance data in a variety of formats for analysis by the NASA Finance Office.
The module consists of a monthly report (533M) and a quarterly report (533Q). The 533M report is generally required for NASA cost-type or fixed-price incentive contracts with a value of over $500,000 and duration of one year or more, or for contracts valued at $1,000,000 or more, regardless of duration. The 533Q report is generally required for NASA cost-type or fixed-price incentive contracts for which the value is greater than $1,000,000 and the duration is greater than one year. We recommend that companies using this module check with the NASA Finance Office for specific reporting requirements.
Costpoint currently produces both the 533M and 533Q reports in the formats required by NASA. Both reports use the same setup and maintenance screens for simplicity and data integrity. You can customize the data that is displayed in each report.
This module draws information for its reports from the screens in the Period Budgets menu in Costpoint Budgeting and ETC, which is part of the Projects folder. It also draws information from the Manage Multi-Job Allocation Information screen if your company is required, for reporting purposes, to spread the total costs of the management/administrative task to all other tasks in a given project.
