Manage Salary Cap Code
Use this screen to enter and maintain salary cap codes.
If you have contracts with government agencies that require salary caps on highly paid employees or subcontractors (for example, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH)), you can use this screen to set up the salary cap codes that will apply to these contracts for a given period.
After you set up the salary cap codes on this screen, you can use the Manage Project User Flow screen to specify the salary cap code for top-level projects for which you want to enforce salary caps. Costpoint applies the salary cap on all employees charging against the project, including all lower-level projects, based on the salary cap code you entered. You have the option to place amounts exceeding the salary cap to an unallowable account through the Manage Project Account Groups screen. Costpoint does not include amounts charged to unallowable accounts in revenue or billings.
