Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Limit Data on the Dashboard to Specific Organizations

Use Global Settings to limit the data that displays on the dashboard to data for just one or a few organizations.

Note: This procedure is applicable only to the Organization Manager Dashboard and Finance Manager Dashboard.

To limit organization data on the dashboard:

  1. With the Organization Manager Dashboard or Finance Manager Dashboard open, click the Global Settings link.
  2. On the dialog box that displays, enter, or click to select, a valid organization ID in the Limit Data to Organizations that Start With field.
  3. Click Save.
    All the dashparts on the dashboard then display data for the selected organization and all levels below it. Your changes are saved for your user ID and will be applied to the dashboard whenever you log in to Costpoint.
