Assign Users/User Groups to an Alternate File Location

You can assign users and user groups to an alternate file location in the project.

To assign users/user groups to an alternate file location:

  1. Open the Manage Alternate File Locations application (Admin > System Administration > File Management > Manage Alternate File Locations).
  2. Select an alternate file location in the Alternate File Locations section.
  3. In Assigned Users/User Groups, click New to add a new row.
  4. In the User / User Group field, enter, or click to select, a user or user group to assign to the alternate file location.
  5. Enter, or click to select, the company with which to link the alternate file location in the Company > field.
  6. Save your updates.
