Field Description
Case Label

Use this field to enter a new case label. This case label is used to identify a workflow. You can use if you need to review the available system-defined case labels.

Valid Values

Use this section to select how to define this case label. The following options are available:

  • All: Select this option to indicate that this case label can be associated with any document, system table, or values defined in the User-Defined Values subtask.
  • Document: Select this option to indicate that this label can be associated with any document.
  • System: Select this option to indicate that this case label looks up case values from a system table. System defined case labels are from a table pre-loaded with data provided by Deltek.
  • User-Defined: Select this option if you want to define the case values using the User-Defined Values subtask.
Note: If this field was previously set to User-Defined and you change it to All or System, Costpoint displays a message explaining to you that, if any related data exists in the User-Defined Values subtask, it will be deleted. The User-Defined Values subtask is available only when this field is set to User-Defined.
System Label

This field displays the system label associated with this case label. You must select System in the Valid Values field for you to be able to enter data in this field.

Note: System-defined case labels derive data from a table pre-loaded by Deltek. In addition to supplying you with many system-defined case labels, the table contains the name of the system database table and column associated with each system-defined label. For example, the ACCT database table and ACCT_ID column  are associated with the Account system-defined case label.
