Field Description
Assessment Code

Enter a unique assessment code.

There are 6 Costpoint-defined assessment codes that display automatically in this field. You cannot modify or delete these codes. Costpoint-defined assessment codes and their descriptions are as follows:

Assessment Code Assessment Description
RTDESC_01 Quality of Product or Service
RTDESC_02 Cost Control
RTDESC_03 Schedule/Timeliness
RTDESC_04 Management or Business Relations
RTDESC_05 Small Business Subcontracting
RTDESC_06 Regulatory

You can delete user-defined codes only if the code is not assigned to assessment formats that have been used on a contract assessment, or if the codes are not assigned to any format at all.

Assessment Description

Enter a unique description for new assessment codes.

For existing codes, you can modify this field for both user- and system-defined assessment codes only if the code is not assigned to a format that has been used on a contract assessment. If the code is assigned to a format but that format has not yet been used on any contract assessment record, you can change the description.

Show in Lookup

This checkbox is selected by default for both user- and system-defined assessment codes, but you can modify it. Keep it selected to display the assessment code in the lookup of the Assessment Description field on the Manage Performance Assessment Formats screen. Only those codes that are available in the lookup can be used for new records in Manage Performance Assessment Formats.

If you clear this checkbox, you will not be able to assign the assessment code to an assessment format.

If you have already assigned the assessment code to an assessment format and then you clear this checkbox, the assessment format will not be affected.

Source This field displays System (system-defined code) or User (user-defined code). You cannot modify this field.
