Enable Auto-Generate Employee IDs for a Multiple Costpoint Companies

Use this procedure if you have multiple companies in your Costpoint database, but you do not want all of them to have the ability to auto-generate employee IDs:

To enable auto-generate employee IDs:

  1. Log on to Costpoint, using the company that should be able to auto-generate employee IDs.
  2. Open the Configure Labor Settings screen.
  3. In the Employee Options tab, select the Auto-Generate Employee IDs check box.
  4. Save the Configure Labor Settings screen setup
